Decentralized City Building Starts 14 September, 2018
MegaCryptoPolis game launch date was a bit uncertain for a while but now it’s official. Initial plan was to start the game on August, but as gameplay became more and more complicated Q3 was named as the major milestone. We can not afford any delays, so the first version of MegaCryptoPolis will be launched on 14 September 2018, 10:00 UTC.
There may be some maintenance works taking place on 13 September to get everything prepared — game may be unavailable for approximately 12–24 hours before the actual start. That time is required to deploy stable smart contracts and mint all land plots in form of ERC-721 tokens.
Building will be started on the same client where the preorder took its place in order to make game experience smooth. Good news is that full-featured MegaCryptoPolis 3D game client will be launched within 30 days after the building actually starts. Please note that all core game functions will be already available in the first version, that will not stop our team from working on the visualization, optimization and additional features for the game client.
That will lead us to a new level of blockchain gaming experience with a downloadable version of the game working as a standalone desktop application on Windows and Apple platforms. Most clients will be available on popular mobile browsers.
